Banned For - Hacking

What I did wrong - Absolutely Nothing. Normally if this were to happen, I would have just found a new server. However, I was very confused when I was banned, 2 minutes into joining the server. So here I am, appealing a ban. When I joined the server for the first time, I was in a place that I assume was an Introduction Phase. I read the books, voted for the server, opened my minecraft again and continued on. When I opened the server after voting, I saw a sign asking, "Is Hacking Allowed?" Assuming that this was a quiz to see if I read and understood the rules, I jumped into the "Nope" option. I was then immediately teleported into a Jail and saw in chat that I was getting banned for hacking. In confusion, I started asking chat what was going on. Before being able to explain myself, I was banned. I have no recording of this, however I hope you take this appeal into consideration as I wish to continue playing on the server. Thank you.

Hello, I am the moderator who banned you. You were jailed by a system set up to detect if players attempt to hack out of the quiz. Unfortunately, after looking into your story we have determined that it does not check out and that you were jailed correctly. As hacking is not allowed on this server, your ban will remain in place and is permanent.

However, here at Strictly Vanilla we ban accounts, not players. This means if you wish, you may return on another account. I hope to see you back on our server on a new account!

I created an account to post this, because while I in no way personally know the OP the story that he told is exactly what happened to me after the map reset. I was freed from the jail after glitching out of the quiz room. Unless you have further proof that he did in fact hack out of the quiz, then you should accept his account of what happened. The same exact thing happened to me.

Admins said there's no way to get jailed in the spawn quiz other than by hacking. May I know who pardoned you Golden? Further, he didnt glitch out of the quiz room. So the situation appears to be different from whatever yours was. Evidence says he did in fact attempt to hack out of the quiz.

I was in the quiz room and it seemed like I fell through the floor or something. I ended up in the trading room. After figuring out how to get out of there I explored through the beehive a bit. I then jumped into the beacon and I got put in jail for trying to hack out of the quiz. This was on day one of the new map. Saenaria let me out of the jail and put me back in the quiz room where I completed the quiz and am happily playing on the server once more. As a side effect of this I ended up with invincibility somehow that I reported to the admins. Kri suggested drinking milk which I did and that solved that. Needless to say it was a pretty crazy start to the new map for me and i am grateful that all of the situations that I found myself in were promptly handled by the admin team. I simply posted on here because this guy's story sounded almost identical to mine and I didn't want another innocent player to get banned. I personally would have pretty upset if I was banned after literally doing nothing wrong, but if your team has evidence that he did in fact try to hack then he deserves the ban.

What are you considering evidence? The fact that a bot told you I was hacking? I will continue to stay true to my story. I did not deserve this ban whatsoever.

Sorry mate. Unless further evidence is revealed that proves your innocence, the ban will not be lifted. But you are free to come back on a different account.
