>Now with the formalities of the appeal out of the way, I want to offer my perspective on the ban. The lava cast was never intended to grief spawn, I just wanted to make one right outside of spawn. When it leaked into spawn I didn't really care about stopping because it only created a handful of blocks of cobble in the spawn boundaries. Additionally, a permanent ban for something like this seems out of place. Another key point is that the spawn boundaries confused me and were sort of blurred. When I first started doing it I assumed that if cobble could be created there then it wasn't spawns boundaries yet; so I continued. Now not to throw anyone under the bus but one of my friends on the server got banned for only three days for pretty messed up hate speech. How does malicious hate speech get a three day ban but something like generating a small row of cobblestone in spawn warrants a permanent ban. To add more, I have sunk so many hours into the server over the past two weeks or so. It's whatever at the end of the day I guess, but I believe my ban should be reduced to three days or something. Not permanent.
