I really want to ask this question to Saenaria but if anyone else can help

I can't download optifine it just won't run on my pc, I've heard about lag problems but is there any way we can increase the render distance? its like playing in the dark at my end

I could remote into your pc and try to fix it for you. Should be as simple as running a .jar file. and if that doens't work we'll see from there.
